UTC time conversions for Latin America:

🇲🇽 Mexico (CST/CDT):UTC -6 / -5
🇨🇴 Colombia:UTC -5
🇦🇷 Argentina:UTC -3
🇧🇷 Brazil (BRT/BRST):UTC -3 / -2

💡 Tip: When a deadline is "Jan 19, 2026 00:00 UTC", it means Jan 18 at 6:00 PM in Mexico City, 7:00 PM in Bogotá, and 9:00 PM in Buenos Aires/São Paulo. Use a UTC converter to check your local time.

Mentorship on demand.

Book time with the right mentor and share exactly what you need: Human.Tech (WaaP/Passport), v0, or Celo.

How it works
  1. We publish mentor availability in Calendly—pick any open slot.
  2. In the field “Please share anything that will help prepare for our meeting.” specify your ask: “Human.Tech - WaaP login,” “Human.Tech - Passport embed,” “v0,” or “Celo (deploy/tx tuning).”
  3. Share links (repo, live URL, docs) so the mentor can prep.
What to expect
  • Sessions are 30 minutes and focused on your stated topic.
  • We route your request to the right mentor (Human.Tech, v0, or Celo).
  • Come with a clear ask and a short demo so we can go straight to solutions.
  • Mainnet-ready guidance: deployments, tx volume strategies, and best practices.

Who can participate?
Builders from LATAM, living in LATAM—developers, designers, PMs, and founders. You can join solo or with a team (teams must be at least 50% LATAM).
Do I need a team?
No. You can apply solo and team up during kickoff, or you can bring a team. Solo projects are welcome too.
Can I apply to more than one track?
Yes — you can (and should!) apply to ALL tracks that fit your project. Compete in Open Track AND MiniApps if you're building a MiniApp. Add Human.Tech (WaaP or Passport) and v0 integrations to be eligible for sponsor bounties too. One project can win prizes in multiple categories!
What do I need to submit?
A Karma Gap link to your project. Inside your Karma Gap project profile include: live demo link, GitHub repo link, slides, and a demo video.
What are the judging criteria?
Impact, execution quality, clarity of the demo, and craft. Bonus points for shipping end-to-end and telling a great story. Special consideration: Projects generating the most transactions on Celo Mainnet receive higher prize consideration. All transactions count until the last day of the buildathon (Feb 27, 2026).
How do submissions work?
Submit via a form with your Karma Gap project link. Your Karma Gap project should include your GitHub repo, deck, and demo.
How do sponsor bounties work?
Sponsor bounties are additional prizes for integrating specific technologies. Human.Tech offers 1,000 USDC: 2 prizes of 250 for best Human.Passport integrations (embeds) and 5 prizes of 100 for best WaaP wallet login flows. v0 offers 1,000 USD in credits (1st: 500, 2nd: 300, 3rd: 200), plus 200 codes of 10 USD for VibeCoding workshop participants. You can win prizes from both main tracks AND sponsor bounties!
Do transactions on mainnet affect my chances of winning?
Yes! Projects that generate the most transactions on Celo Mainnet receive special consideration for higher prizes. This demonstrates real usage and engagement with your dApp. All transactions count from the start of the buildathon until the last day (Feb 27, 2026). Deploy early and encourage users to interact with your project!
